Crisp Asian Salad

This is one of our family’s delicious go-to easy to make fresh salads. My husband Lonnie loves this salad.

Ingredients

Dressing:

· 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

· 2 tablespoons lemon juice (can substitute 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar instead of lemon)

· 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil

· 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

· 1 tablespoon of water

· ½ teaspoon ground cumin

· sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste (I use approx. ¼ tsp each)

Salad

· One head of green cabbage

Instructions

1. Whisk together all salad dressing ingredients.

2. Chop cabbage into quarters, remove core of cabbage from each quarter.

3. Finely slice each quarter of cabbage

4. Place the sliced cabbage and salad dressing in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

5. Enjoy!
